How to keep the love for Krishna undiluted for ever?

A Girl devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:

“I am 19 years old and I have loved God Shri Krishna since childhood and sometimes in my dream I see another person who is not God and when I wake up I feel sad because I believe Shri Krishna to be my spouse, I do not want anything from him in return ,I have little friends and none of them are true, so I feel lonely sometimes but that is okay .How do I make sure that my love for God stays this way and how do I please Shri Krishna so that only he stays in my heart and my dreams?”

REPLY:

I do not like to discourage you loving Krishna and considering Him as your husband.

But, in this kali yuga, we should not depend on anyone for our  day to day living.

Today’s world honours only those who are earning and managing themselves.

(I love Krishna, but, I am unable to love the people of this world. What to do? READ HERE!)

Now a days, Even the parents who have ‘monthly pension’ gets more care from their children than the parents who do not have any earning.

Without working and earning, it is difficult to maintain ourselves.

So, I wish that you should work, earn, help others and the suffering temples and also follow Gopi Bhava that you are feeling now.

If you are a boy, I may advise you to take full time service in the temples as your food and shelter needs will be taken care by the temple.

But, for the women, such options of serving full time and have shelter to stay are limited.

So, if you remain unmarried considering Krishna as your husband, you should ensure yourself that you have that bhava honestly and truly.

If you find that it is not that much strong, marry a devotee boy and lead a devotional life.

(GUIDE FOR DEVOTEES: CAN GIRLS AVOID MARRIAGE AND STAY IN THE TEMPLES? A TEST FOR YOU! READ HERE!)

If you find that your Gopi bhava is not emotional seeing others, but spontaneous, ensure that you have earning to manage yourself till your life time.

And you should never violate in discipline.

If you do not have that confidence, please moderate your stand and marry a boy.

Since you are just 19 now, your views may change in the middle twenties about marriage.

Anyway, do not conclude anything in life. Go with the waves of life.

Krishna may have a plan for you. So, if you get a good opportunity to marry, do not avoid it.

Even after marriage, you can love Krishna.

(If a girl loves Krishna but marries someone else, will she lose purity? READ HERE!)

Most of the Gopis were married women only.

Even Radharani accepted a husband though she was the closest Gopi associate of Krishna.

See, Krishna is the relation as husband for the souls. For all the souls, Krishna is the husband because He is the Only Purusha.

All the souls are females though they are in male bodies.

So, just because you consider Krishna as husband, there are no barriers to marry.

Of course, if you do not get a reliable boy even after many efforts, you may remain unmarried.

But, do not decide anything on your own.

Leave these matters to the Time and Karma Network.

Now, your question: How to keep our love for Krishna undiluted for ever?

You are innocent now without much impurities (material attachments).

So, you are able to love Krishna more.

If you keep the same innocence for ever without developing more and more material attachments, you can keep the same love for Krishna undiluted for ever.

If you involve more and more in materialistic activities to satisfy your senses, you will gradually forget Krishna or this emotional love will fade down.

I have once counselled a girl devotee who told that her love for Krishna came down after she started to love a boy.  See that post below:

(I am unable to love Krishna,  after I started to love a boy.  What to do? READ HERE!)

What this means?

When she attached with a boy with material interests, her attachment to Krishna came down.

This is the simple reason.

Keep this formula always in mind:

Less material desires and dreams enhance our love for Krishna;

More material desires and dreams reduce or dilute our love for Krishna.

So, if you like to keep your love for Krishna undiluted for ever, do not develop more and more material attachments and develop a dutiful mindset.

It is enough.

This is the ONLY WAY to keep your love for Krishna undiluted for ever.
