UNDERSTAND AND AVOID KARMA – STORY
Jesus Christ visited a temple (Church) in Jerusalem.
That church compound had been filled with the shops selling different goods.
Jesus Christ felt for the condition of the Church like a trade center.
He said with the painful heart: ““Take these things away; do not make my Father’s house a house of trade.”
Then, he was questioned like this by the Jews:
“What sign do you show us for doing these things?”
Jesus Christ had known that he is going to be killed by the rulers soon. So, he said like this in a double layered way:
“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
Why Jesus Christ told like this?
He meant his “Body” by ‘Temple’. He actually meant : “Destroy the temple of my body; I will come in the same body in three days”
But, it was misunderstood by the Jews as if he is plotting to destroy the temple.
This became a catch point for the Jews who were looking for evidences to eliminate Jesus from the land.
Added with other accusations of blasphemy, this issue also became a case before the court.
We know what happened later.
They gave a verdict to crucify Jesus on the cross till he dies.
It was implemented. Jesus was crucified on the cross and died.
As said by him in the temple, he became alive on the third day.
Yes, he rebuilt his destroyed body in three days.
MORAL:
Jesus was punished because of MISUNDERSTANDING of his words and actions.
When he said that he is the son of god, the Jews claimed that he is blaspheming. When he said that he will come alive, they misunderstood.
But, it was later proved that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
We too misunderstand even our lovable persons, friends and relatives just by reading the words and without reading their hearts.
Because of this, we lose even good people who can support us whenever we are in distress in future.
Misunderstanding is the major cause for many relations to end in separation.
What are we going to achieve by cutting the people in a hasty manner?
Won’t we need anyone in life to support whenever we face any problems in life?
Are we insulated from problems throughout our life?
No one can live in this world without the support of others. We need atleast four people to take us to funeral ground.
By hurting the good hearted people who helped us, we add severe karma that is the only karma that can’t be cleared even by God. Only the affected person should be approached to forgive them. Even Thirukural, the most popular Tamil Text says that there is no excuse for those who killed the gratitude.
So, Let us love all; Forgive all; Avoid sins in life!
