Is staying in Goloka as family of Parents, Spouse & Child possible?
A male devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:
“Hare Krishna,Pamho Prabhuji i seek your mercy to clear my doubts…kindly reply prabhuji….
When i think about Goloka Vrindavan, One doubt always comes to mind is that “the residents of golaka vrindavan are staying with their family or not… i.e. with their father, mother, wife, son etc…of course they all can engage in loving services of Krishna….Kindly reply… i’ll remain ever grateful to you Prji.”
REPLY:
Actually, if a devotee goes back to Krishna’s Kingdom Goloka, all his seven previous and next generations get liberated.
This means, they will not go back to Krishna, but, just liberation from the material clutches, i.e, attaining mukti.
If they too had worship Krishna, they too will easily go back to Krishna without hurdles.

Do you think that these relationships are really eternal and enjoyable? Only eternal things can exist in spiritual planets. If other thoughts come, you can’t be there in Goloka. You will come back to earth.
The beauty is that if you go to Goloka, your wife and children may also get a chance to go there. But, you can not remember in Goloka that they are your relatives. If you remember them, that means, your time to fall down to earth back has come. So, staying in Goloka as family is not possible.
You can maintain any relationship in Goloka. Not with other devotees of Goloka. But, with Krishna.
Why?
Because, every devotee in Goloka will be interested ONLY IN SERVING KRISHNA. They have no other business and thoughts.
They do not have interest in having relations with others.

Why they are not interested?
Because the devotees in Goloka are in “Nithya Siddha State”. That means, they have forgotten all material thoughts and relations and are eternally related to Krishna only. They can’t remain under maya. They have no dreams in life except the service of Krishna.
IN CASE, HE HAPPENS TO REMEMBERS HIS PAST RELATIVES OF THE EARTH USING HIS FREE WILL GIVEN BY KRISHNA, THEN, HE WILL BE SENT TO THE EARTH AGAIN.
Thus, your wife and sons may also be there in Goloka. But, you will not remember them. If you somehow remember them out of your free will, your term will be finished and you will be sent back to earth again.
This shows that one can not remember his past relations in Krishna’s Kingdom Goloka and if he remembers out of free will, he can not be there.

Srila Prabhupada says in Bombay, December 27, 1972 :
“When the dream is finished, we come to another dream: “Oh, this is my house. This is my family. This is my bank balance.” This is going on. Dream. One dream at night, one dream at daytime. But who is dreaming? That is the living entity. So his business is different. Not dreaming, daytime dreaming and night-time dreaming. He has to come to the actual platform. That is Krsna consciousness. If he takes to Krsna consciousness, that is his actual life. Otherwise, he’s in the dreamland”.
Since they are in “Nithya Siddha State”, they have only one relative – Krishna.
Whereas, the people in material world are in “Nithya Baddha State”, ie, they have forgotten Krishna and are involved in so many other relations created because of the bodies. So, this is called fallen state.

Srila Prabhupada says in a Letter to Madhudvisa Swami and Australian devotees :
“Our separation from Krishna is like that. We dream this body and so many relationships with other things. Just like in a dream we are thinking very long time, but as soon as we awaken we look at our watch and see it has been a moment only”.
Srila Prabhupada also says that the Nithya Siddha devotee has been given a free will to dream. So, some times, a Nithya Siddha Devotee dreams to acts as a Nithya Baddha. That means, some times, this Nithya Siddha devotee uses his free will to enjoy instead of serving the Lord alone. This is just like a dream.
So, he is immediately sent to material planets to enjoy and realize the actual effects behind such temporary enjoyments.

So, if a devotee likes to have relations and different bodies, he can’t remain in Krishna’s Kingdom Goloka further. he will be sent to earth.
This is confirmed by Srila Prabhupada in a Letter to Jagadisa das, 1970:
“These spirit souls and all spirit souls are coming from Vaikuntha, but in these material worlds they are taking various grades of bodies according to their material activities”.
So, remember, YOUR PARENTS, BROTHERS, SISTERS, WIFE/ HUSBAND, CHILDREN, ETC, ETC, WILL BE FORGOTTEN BY YOU ONCE YOU LEAVE THIS BODY.
If you remember rarely, you will fall from Nithya sidddha state and you will be sent back to the material worlds.

So, do not develop this dangerous desire of having your parents, wife, etc., in Goloka also. Do not wish to contaminate Goloka as contaminating it is not possible.
This does not mean that your parents and relatives can’t go to Krishna’s Kingdom Goloka. They too can go to Goloka, but, they will not remember you there. They will not call you as DARLING in Goloka.
