Is animals going back to Krishna possible? Detailed Explanation!

A Girl devotee (Name hidden) like this:

hare krishna. my kitten got killed by a street dog. i used to love him so much. i want him also to reach lord krishna so that he wont suffer again.

REPLY:

No. Your kitten may not reach Krishna now. At the most, he take human birth even in your surrounding and then associate with devotees and then go to Krishna.

Unless there is an exceptional reason, animals going back to Krishna may not be possible directly from animal birth. Because, only those who are always in Krishna Prema and do not think of any other thing, can go back to Krishna.

And, The births as animals are preprogrammed. If , for example, the sequence of pre-planned births for animals and birds is dog, cat, horse, bull, cow, monkey and finally man, they can not change their next births.

(Do animals have soul (athma) as meat eaters say animals have no soul? READ HERE!)

For example, if a dog likes to take birth as a horse instead of cat next, it is impossible. Why?

Because a dog can not PLAN AND INVOLVE IN NEW KARMA. They do some fixed assignments and die.

Eating, Matting, Sleeping and Defending. That’s all they can do.

Only if a dog behaves like a horse, it can get horse birth next. But, a dog behaves like dog only.

So, the next life of animals is fixed and unchangeable.

However, some fortunate animals may get next birth as a human breaking the series if they get the opportunity to serve any vaishnava or Lord by fortune.

(Is it sinful to kill animals for research by the scientists and the employees? READ HERE!)

For example, if a cow is pouring its milk automatically on an idol of Vishnu, it can take birth as a human and then go back to the Lord. Or, it can even directly go back to Godhead because of such a fortune to pour milk on the idol of Vishnu.

But, such instances are rare. So, I am speaking about general possibilities.

However, a man can alter his next birth. How?

If a man lives like dog and wanders for sense gratification here and there, he may take birth as a dog next, instead of human.

If he lives as a meat addict and always thinking of eating animals, he may not take birth as a human next, but, as a wild animal that can eat many animals.

IF A MAN LIVES LIKE A MAN AS SAID BY THE SCRIPTURES, THEN HE CAN TAKE BIRTH AS A HUMAN AGAIN.

(Why killing plants for food is forgivable, but killing animals is sinful? READ HERE!)

IN CASE, A MAN LIVES AS A PURE VAISHNAVA, HE CAN STOP HIS NEXT BIRTH AND GO TO KRISHNA, AFTER WHICH HE WILL HAVE NO BIRTHS.

So, please remember:

ONLY A MAN CAN PRACTICE AND GET QUALIFIED TO GO BACK TO KRISHNA.

Only in exceptional cases, an animal can get the opportunity to serve the Lord or a Vaishnava and then reach Lord directly.

Some most fortunate animals even get the opportunity to associate with the Lord Himself and hence get liberated and go back to the Lord directly.

Example:

The monkeys that helped during Lord Rama’s Avatar.

And, the cows that were associated with Krishna during His Avatar.

(What is the karma for killing animals as a habitual enjoyment? READ HERE!)

The Jadayu bird that helped Lord Rama telling that Ravana has taken Sita devi.

And, the elephants that serve in Vishnu temples can either take human birth next or go back to Vaikunta planets directly.

So, your kitten is just an affectionate kitten. It has not done any service to the Lord. So, it may take next birth as per its preplanned sequence.

When its turn comes to take next birth as a human, then, it may start to practice Krishna Bhakti, IF IT IS FORTUNATE, because, Krishna says that ONLY ONE IN THOUSANDS THINK OF HIM.

So, the life of your kitten is over. Go for the next duty and you start serious chanting and sadhanas to go back to the Lord. In case you go back to Krishna, your kitten may also get opportunity to accompany you. So, you first try to go back to the Godhead.

Hope you are clear about the animals going back to Krishna.
