What if Satisfying Krishna dissatisfies family & affect motivation?

A Male devotee asked like this:

“I Read This Post ON FINDING A PERFECT LIFE PARTNER. Lot of realizations are packed in the post. Thanks.

(1) “ONLY TO SATISFY KRISHNA, NOT TO SATISFY OURSELVES.
FOR OTHER PEOPLE, JUST DO YOUR DUTY. FOR KRISHNA, SHOW ALL YOUR LOVE.”. This would mean that we do not try to love others? will our family members be satisfied if we act just on platform of duty? Is it possible to accept others flaws and imperfections in platform of duty?
Should others not be loved as seeing them as part and parcel of Lord Shri Krishna?

(2) “hence we were asked to TEMPORARILY try them on this earth and realize that enjoyments follow pains and after that come back to Krishna after full realization again.” Once if we realize this and keep remembering this fact the motivation to act and do our material life duties goes down..at least we will not aspire to do more than necessary..as we would always be afraid of the impending pain. With such an attitude , motivation in life becomes difficult and I feel isolated from society, what to do.

These are some questions that came up to my mind.. it is ok , not urgent to be answered.. I understand you will have so many other things to do as well. So whenever you are free you can answer.

REPLY:

See, if you like to get Krishna, you have to take some pains and sacrifices.
Maintaining attachment with everything as well as Krishna is not possible.
Attached works and Duties are different.

You ask whether we can love the people as the part and parcel of Krishna.
This is what the purpose of the whole preaching – Seeing Krishna in everyone and everything.

(How to see Krishna in everyone and everything? READ HERE!)

This is said because Krishna is there in everyone and they are the creations of Krishna.

However, they are still the people who are bound by three gunas though Krishna is in them as witness for all their acts and thoughts.

Until they remain under three gunas, they may pull us into their lifestyle of attached material life.

They may plan for buying a big car and may tell you proudly. Though car is not necessary for you, you may get disturbed or shaken and you too may develop desire to buy a car knowing that it is not necessary for you.

People are People – Krishna is Krishna.

Though we should see Krishna in the people also, they are not Krishna.

So, difference is there.

Until we know well that they are situated well in Krishna consciousness, we need not closely associate with them.

Loving does not mean attaching with them.

(To know the difference between Love and attachment, read THIS POST.)

(2)

Enjoyments cause pain. We know that. Still we desire for enjoyments.

Though one faces torture from his wife, he does not hesitate to consider another girl to marry after divorcing the first wife.

He expects that atleast this second wife may be good.

Such an attitude exists in everyone.

Krishna does not take us with 100% purity. He takes us even if we have nearly three fourth of Purity.

And Krishna never refuses to allow our free will wherever we are.

So, sometimes, we forget the past failures and desire for pleasures again.

Even in Goloka, seeing the Supreme position of Krishna, we use our freewill wrongly to develop a desire to be served like Krishna.

So, we came here.

(Why and How did we fall down from Goloka? How to avoid it? READ HERE!)

We never like to desert our desires to enjoy. That is why, we are making repeated attempts in this world till we die.

So, losing motivation is not a matter. We are going to remain in the bliss of serving Krishna. As a responsible devotee, we are going to honour and protect our parents and family like Krishna Himself did when He came here.
If you think that you are with Krishna safely, but are doing your duties as advised by Krishna, motivation will automatically come.

We have seen in many families, though the spouse is very torturous, the husband or wife still silently continuing to do their duties for the spouse.

Similarly, when we set our mind dutybound and also follow sincere devotion to Krishna, it will be a perfect life as advised by Krishna Himself.

Hope you are clear about what to do if Satisfying Krishna dissatisfies family & affect motivation.
