How karma decides our gender in the next birth as male or female?

A girl devotee asked like this (Name hidden):

“Hare Krishna Prabhu Dandavat Pranam, I have a question why we take birth as woman.”

REPLY:

Men or women are like the clothes.

When we go to a conference, we wear Coats and suits. (Sorry, I do not wear them)

When we go to temple, we wear dhotis.

(If we consider Krishna in any relation, will we get rebirth to fulfill that wish? READ HERE!)

When the women attend functions, they wear costly silk sarees.

When they go to movies or outing, they wear salwar, pants, like that..

When they are at home, they wear nighties.

Thus, when the ‘need’ is different, the dress also differs.

Same applies for our gender in the next birth as male or female.

The following things decides the gender of our next birth:

(i) Though a person is born as a male, if he commits offenses against women in this birth, he takes birth as a female again to face similar offenses.

(Body or Soul – Which feels the Pains of Karma, birth and death? READ HERE!)

If he is a female and if he commits offenses against the men, she may take birth as a male.

(ii) If a male has the domination of “feelings” like women and behaves like women, he takes birth as female again.  Seeing the beauty of the women, some men develop frequent thoughts of “how it will be if we had been a girl?”.  Such men will be given the next birth as female.

Similarly, if a woman is dominated with the feelings like men, she may take birth as a man.

(iii) If a male is cursed by women in this birth, he takes birth as female again. (And Vice versa too)

(iv) If a person tortures or deserts his/ her father, brother, or any male, he/she may take birth as a male.  If he tortures his/ her mother, sister, or any woman, he/she may take birth as female.

(Why next birth in Brahmana family, not vaishnava family if we fall down? READ HERE!)

(v) If a person is very much attached to women, he may take birth as women. Similarly, if a woman is attached much with the men, she may take birth as male.

(vi) As said by Krishna Himself, if a woman dies thinking of men, she may take birth as a male and vice versa.

The above details show that our present consciousness decides our next birth.  If our consciousness is dominated with feminine thoughts,  we take birth as female.  Same applies for females taking birth as males again.

In the creations of Krishna, both the males and females enjoy same values because, they account for equal numbers in the population.  Every male has the chance to take birth as female again.  Similarly, every female have the chance to take birth as male.

(84 LAKHS TYPES OF SPECIES/ BIRTHS – CLEAR EXPLANATION! READ HERE!)

For a new birth to happen, both a male and female should take part.  Therefore, both of them have the same value.

If both of them respect one another, there will be no issues in the society.

If there are no women, there can be no men, and vice versa.

And, Athma has no gender.  This gender is temporary and for this body only.

Hope you are clear about how karma decides our gender in the next birth as male or female.
