Finding Trustworthiness of a Person! Tips!
A Girl devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:
“Hare Krishna Anna. I am cheated even by my friends and relatives. Please give me some ideas to find whether a guy is trustworthy or not among friends, relatives and devotees also. Thank you.”
REPLY:
This is a generalized question. I think that you have been disappointed by some people. However, we can not fully trust anyone or any system and we have to be very careful in every step and every relationship.
In this kaliyuga, we should not entrust ourselves to some other person completely. Because, most of the people are good people till they get the chance for committing offences and violations.
As per the scriptures, the humans have the tendency to cheat. So, finding trustworthiness is not easy. It needs some efforts.
In this kaliyuga, most of the people have two faces. If the opponent is sound in finance and status, they speak very humbly. The same person will not hesitate to ill treat anyone of he is weak in finance and status.

I know some devotees (not all) who are very humble in the temple to other devotees, but, they will always be scolding their wives/ husbands. What is the use in this?
So, if you think that all the persons in this world have given up their material attachments, it is not true. There are variety of people around us. Some have kind hearts and help others if they can help.
There are some others who help others only if there may be some future benefits from them. If an ordinary people asks for helps, they will not do.
There are some others who will never help anyone and lead a narrow, selfish life.
There are another section of people who will not help the genuine people, but, they will help some pretenders and lose their money and/or peace. Eg: they will invest in bogus finance companies expecting huge profits and lose money. They could have helped to genuine people instead of losing it.
There are many people like this: They will scold the bus driver if the bus is stopped for more minutes in any stage when they are travelling. The same people will scold the bus driver if the driver takes the bus earlier when they miss the bus.
They will have different sets of rules for themselves and others in the same matters.

Thus, there are variety of people in this world that makes our efforts of finding trustworthiness difficult.
As per Srimad Bhagavatham, in Satya Yuga, all the people were good people.
In Treta yuga, 75% of people were good and 25% were pretenders.
In Dvapar yuga, 50% of people were good and 50% were pretenders.
In kaliyuga, Ha Ha… what to say, 25% of people will be good and 75% will be pretenders.
So, only one fourth of the people are trust worthy in kaliyuga (still 4,27,000 years are there in kali yuga)
So, it is our our talent to identify that 25% good people in this kaliyuga.

If you find them out, you are fortunate. It needs special talent. If you are unable to find right people out, you become unfortunate.
How to filter good people?
There is no other way except secret observation.
If anyone asks money,’
If anyone loves or proposes you,
If anyone comes to voluntarily help you,
do not accept his offer immediately.
Just tell them to wait for a week or month. Within that period, observe his activities secretly.
In case it is not possible for you to directly observe him, speak to his friends and neighbours. Enquire 3-4 people for majority views. So, enquire many people.
I usually do not entertain any commercial calls in my mobiles or mail accounts. I have registered for TOTAL STOPPAGE of any kind of commercial calls and messages in the DND (Do not disturb) register. If anyone calls in spite of my such registration, I gently refuse to speak, not harshly.

Because, I know that any product should be seen directly and then purchased. It is unwise to decide just on hearing a phone call with sweet words from girls. If we give our ears for such sweet voices, we may end up in losing money.
So, there are still some percentage of genuine people. All you have to do is, enquire thoroughly. No other way.
There is a saying in the Tamil language:
That we see by eyes may be false;
That we hear by ears may also be false;
Only that we learn by thorough enquiry will be true.
Another way to know one’s trustworthiness is that we should observe what he does in Privacy and when he is among his friends.
Above all, you can know whether one is reliable or not by showing his horoscope to a good astrologer. This will be the crystal clear method of finding trustworthiness and ACTUAL NATURE of a person.
