Feeling Headache while chanting – Solutions!

A Girl devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:

“Dear Prabhuji,   I am experiencing something strange when I chant japa mala – I have also feel same pain.. when the pain becomes strong I have to stop chanting.

Why do I experience that pain between my eyebrows?  Prabhuji do you know or have heard someone experience the same….i read somewhere that the ajna chakra has to do with psychic abilities, intuition and higher spiritual knowledge…    Prabhuji I have been reading srimad bhagavatam for one year and I have noted many changes in myself… Why do I feel that pain in ajna chakra?… please advise me”

First of all, I like to tell you not to confuse with even ordinary things and emotional happenings.

These things are related to nerves. And, these things happen only to emotional people.  You may have weak nerves in forehead or head leading to brain.

So, when you chant the same words repeatedly, the nerves vibrate.  As these nerves are weak for you,  they cause pain in the concerned region.

Even I have this problem.  If I chant 4-5 rounds continuosly, I feel head ache in forehead.  Because, my nerves in forehead seems to be weak as I work with system for atleast 12 hrs. daily non stop.  This has caused weakness in eye nerves and related nerves in forehead.

So, when I chant daily, I pause chanting for 5 minutes after every 20-30 minutes and take sufficient water, relax for 5 minutes and then continue chanting.  If I do not give this pause and relaxation, I will be having long head ache.

So, when we chant, our mouth dries up.  So, the nerves feel weak and when they vibrate continuously non stop, they cause pain in the head.

Similarly, ghosts attack only the women , not the men.  Why?  Because, they are mostly emotional.  So, emotional people get affected by external factors easily.

Some women will dance violently in front of durga, kali deities during pujas according to the tune of the drums.  The people believe that the god has entered into the body of those women  and speak through her.

These things also happen to women the most, because of their emotional nature.  Now a days, many women are becoming learned and they too behave like men and they have no excessive emotional quotients as in the case of the women of 20th century and before.

These ghosts do not catch such intelligent women.  They catch only pure emotional people.

Ha Ha… Many fake Godmen make use of these emotional nature of these women and make more money telling something.  The women believe that and do Parihars, etc., spending money.  They also encourage their intelligent husbands to come to those bogus people.

As most of the husbands obey the words of wives, they too go to these bogus people and get cheated.  If all the people become intelligent in this world, there will be no cheaters and no ghost can attack any person.

So, your pain may be the nerve problem.  So, please consult a neurologist or take Vitamin B-Complex & C tablets daily that have B-12.  Your pain will definitely come down in due course of time.

Chant in a very mild voice if you face headache while chanting.

But, the Lord will DEFINITELY be happy with your chanting and He will fulfil all your wishes, there is no doubt.

So, continue chanting.  Start chanting Hare Krishna hereafter as much as possible in a mild voice.

The issue of feeling Headache while chanting will not exist!
