“There are a few female devotees who post dirty pictures in internet in social media just like people who are in nightclubs. I know we shouldn’t judge anyone based on their clothes but how to determine whether someone is in serious devotion or not especially female because I am looking for a good nice devoted girl to marry and I am confused as there are a few devotee who wear modern dresses but not extremely revealing and then some who dresses exposing clothes, I am confused as to who are really devoted and who are not. Clothing is not problem for me as long as that girl is really devoted but it’s just some devotees are really exposing themselves in the pictures and that’ what confused me.”

Yes. Finding good devotee Spouse from among modern devotees seems to be difficult nowadays as the violations are more.
Posting such photos in social media is a clear violation of regulative principles.
Among the devotees using social media, such violating devotees are very less and they may be starting level Neophyte devotees who may be in transformation state.
For the devotees using social media, it should be handled very decently, professionally and spiritually.
Because riding on two horses at the same time is not possible.

Decide whether to show yourself as a devotee or as a person interested in materialistic way of life.
If you have urge to involve in the acts of wandering with the friends of opposite sex, please do not associate with the devotees of opposite sex.
If you have urge to use intoxicants or to eat meat, don’t show yourself as a devotee.
Because those who are looking for good match or association may find it difficult for finding good devotee Spouse and they may get deceived seeing your appearance as a devotee but with character issues.
It will seriously affect the whole devotee community.
A devotee should first reduce the deep association of non devotees as they will constantly pull the devotee from his devotion.
They should just stop with some formal talks for basic courtesy with the non devotees.
They should not show themselves as a friend or associate of such non devotees.
A devotee does not require a friend or associate from among non devotees.
If you are working somewhere or studying, stop with the unavoidable and important talks related to the career or studies.

If any devotee is showing her/ his exposing photos publicly, just block him/ her and stop associating with him/ her.
Never consider him/ her for marrying. It is risky and may lead to our fall down.
Add only the devotees or pious persons who sincerely follow decency as your friends in your social media profile. Avoid others.
Adding materialistic friends will lead to the exposure of more materialistic contents that may later lead to our fall down in due course of time.
So, always have just formal talks with the non devotees and develop healthy association with the devotees.
However, Never hate anyone because all are the creations of Krishna.
I know many devotees who hesitate to share Krishna related posts posted by the devotees or sathsanghas. Some message me that his/her profile friends poke them if they share the posts related to Krishna.
They themselves add such poking materialistic persons as friends in their profiles. Then they downgrade themselves to the level of non devotees just to avoid getting poked.
For example, if others poke him for wearing Tilak, he avoids wearing the Tilak.

If they allow only the devotees or pious persons in their profiles/ friend circles, they can share many contents related to Krishna for them that will help in their devotional growth.
Many devotees hesitate to show themselves as the devotees of Krishna to their circle of friends. So, they never share the contents related to Krishna to others.
By doing so, they miss the good opportunity to spread the messages of Krishna to others through their social media profiles.
Their devotional advancement will be delayed and they may take many births to go back to Krishna.
Because Krishna has to first make them prefer Krishna and boldly show out as the devotees of Krishna. Only after that, He can make that person advance in devotion.

So, first show to others that you are a devotee of Krishna. It should be your identity.
In fact, it is your ONLY identity, because as an athma, every person should remain connected with the Paramathma Krishna.
There are a few devotees who maintain two profiles. One for sharing the contents related to Krishna. Another one to chat with materialistic people.
How can a devotee get a good person to associate or marry if he maintains contacts with both the devotees and materialistic persons using two profiles?
Only the devotees who boldly show that they are the devotees of Krishna can grow fast in their devotion.
If a devotee also shows more interest in materialistic way of life, he/ she will gradually go away from Krishna and he will forget his identity as the servant of Krishna and will fall down in the hands of maya.

The devotees using social media whom you have referred in your question are not fit to associate with.
They may need one or more births to get the courage to show themselves as devotees publicly.
So, first be clear: If you like to grow in the devotion to Krishna, AVOID marrying a devotee who claims as a devotee of Krishna, but also shows his/her exposing pictures and/ or vulgar writings.
Because, you too will fall down.
If you too are leading a double life, then, don’t marry a serious devotee showing yourself as a serious devotee. It will make Finding good devotee Spouse dificult.
If any devotee posts exposing images in their social media profiles, he is not a good devotee.

The devotees in their starting stage may behave like that with double faces.
In due course of time, he will grow further and become a good devotee.
However, if anyone is a starting level neophyte devotee, but has a serious desire to grow in devotion, he should associate only with the serious devotees who have a clear determination of leading a devotional way of life.

So, I chose to be a full time servant of Krishna.
This is the daring decision I made in my life though I may have to face many ups and downs in this selfish world.
My only hope in this world is the words of Krishna Himself that Krishna will never let His sincere devotees down and He will take care of the genuine needs of His devotee. So, He will protect me and all of us.
Thus, my advice is : Be a devotee; Be with the devotees; Understand the blessings given by Krishna to you; Grow in devotion.
