REPLY:

Avoiding Chanting because of household duties is absolutely wrong. This is a manageable issue.

Are you the only person who has household duties?

Almost all the married women have household duties.

Many women face the tortures thru in-laws, husband, etc.

Most of them are chanting to their level best.

Don’t think that all the women are leading cool life and chant sitting on the bed of roses.

Everyone has unique problems.

All depend on our conviction, dedication and determination.

If you think that you should chant at any cost, you can do.

See, I will accept if you say that there are some difficulties in offering bhoga for Krishna because of family food habits.

But, I won’t accept ANY reasons for NOT chanting.

Because If proper way of chanting with beads is really not possible at all, Chanting can be done even secretly and even without a chanting beads while doing household duties.

Yes, if you have serious desire to chant, you can’t give any reasons for not chanting.

You can cook for one hour by uttering the Hare Krishna Maha Manthra in mild voice.

Who stopped you?

You can clean/wash the house by uttering the Hare Krishna Maha Manthra in mild voice.

Who stopped you?

You can go to the shops for grossery or vegetables by walk chanting the holy names within mind or in mild voice.

Who stopped you?

You can do walking exercise by chanting the Holy Names of Krishna.

Who stopped you?

You can wash the utensils for half an hour while chanting.

Who stopped you?

You can chant even while lying on bed.

I chanted when I was admitted in the ICU in a hospital twice and when the doctors declared that I was dying. Because, I was free on bed. I did not waste my time.

Thus, chanting can be done in any stage.

If the situation and facilities are there to chant using a chanting beads or counter, we can chant using beads or counter.

If the situation does not permit using beads or counter, we can chant even without using any counting tools. Just keep on chanting whenever possible while performing other household duties.

It is not wrong. We should remember Krishna. This is the purpose of chanting.

So, Please don’t stand on excuses. Start chanting while performing other household duties. And, you can keep reading the books on Krishna even on bed or during the resting time if there is no other way.

Krishna will accept it.

Start chanting!
