What if Krishna wants a Pure devotee taking rebirth?

What if Krishna wants a Pure devotee taking birth again?

A Girl devotee asked like this:

“Hare Krishna prabhu… I want to ask u one question , Krishna has informed us in bhagwat gita that whosoever remembers him at the time of death, he becomes eligible to enter goloka… pure devotees r liberated souls. they come to this world to liberate conditional souls like us… So what is their state of mind when they leave their present body…as they r always situated with Krishna even in this world.. N their bhakti is 100%, then is there possibility for them to take birth again in this world as wished by Krishna?”

REPLY:

Yes…The Lord has said in Bhagavad Gita that those who leaves the body thinking of Him will come to Him. This assurance is for those who like to go back to Him after leaving the body.

Most of the devotees are frustrated with the ups and downs of material life. So, they feel that they can remain ever blissful if they go back to Krishna’s kingdom.

So, they follow Vaidhi bhakti and perform all the sadhanas with the target of going back to Godhead.

When he becomes a Krishna Premi (One who is immersed in the love for Krishna), he always thinks of Krishna in every living being and things and he also treats all the happenings in life as the outcome of their karma and faces them with the support of Krishna.

So, he has no lamentation or joy. He is always situated in Krishna Consciousness.

So, when he leaves his body keeping his desire of Going back to Lord, he is taken to Krishna’s abode and he will have no further births in the material planets.

However, the exalted pure devotees follow TRUE NISHKAM BHAKTI (SELFLESS DEVOTION).

What is Nishkam bhakti?

They have no desires for them and they have totally entrusted themselves to Krishna. They do not even develop a desire to go back to godhead. Because, they have left everything to the choice and wish of Krishna and they just serve the Lord as his instrument on the  earth. Such a good devotee taking birth again. Read further.

Srila Prabhupada in his Purport to Srimad Bhagavatham (1.9.24) Says:

“A pure devotee is never very anxious to go back to the kingdom of God. He entirely depends on the good will of the Lord. He is equally satisfied even if the Lord desires him to go to hell.”

Since they are ready to go to even hells, they are also prepared to take birth anywhere again if Krishna likes to utilize them to elevate the fallen souls.

Krishna does not come to the material planets frequently and He sends such selfless pure devotees to take birth among the fallen souls to elevate more and more fallen souls to Krishna Bhakti.

For example, Srila Prabhupada must have led an exalted pure devotee life in his previous birth. He would have been qualified to go back to Lord in his previous birth itself. Or, he must have been serving in Goloka already.

(SYMPTOMS OF PURE AND SURRENDERED DEVOTEES! READ HERE!)

However, as Krishna wanted to elevate many fallen souls even from the highly materialistic parts of this planet, He gave rebirth to Srila Prabhupada and gave him Strength to save thousands of people from the birth and death. Because Srila Prabhupada came here to fulfil the wish of Krishna, he could do that effectively and JUST HIS ASSOCIATION made many fallen souls as very good devotees.

So, such devotees like Srila prabhupada will not leave the bodies with the wish of going back to Krishna. They leave their bodies just as a HUMBLE SERVANT of the Lord totally surrendering themselves to Krishna.

So, Krishna use them as He prefers and if needed He gives rebirth and at other times He keeps such exalted devotees with Him at Goloka. When such exalted devotees are at Goloka, Krishna may send them to the earth for elevating the fallen souls. They then come to the earth and serve the Lord from here.

So, the point is that exalted/ pure devotees taking rebirth is just like to serve the lord from anywhere, either in the material planets or in spiritual planets.
