Law in Kaliyuga – Story

Law in Kaliyuga – Story

One night, a thief was making a hole in the wall of a wealthy trader’s house to steal.

At that time, it was raining heavily, and when he entered the trader’s house through the hole, the wall collapsed and the thief died.

The next morning, the trader learned of what had happened.

The thief’s wife went to the trader’s house, thinking that the thief had not returned, and found her husband dead, and complained to the king that the trader was the cause.

The king, who inquired at the trader’s house, said that trader was responsible for the thief’s death.

The trader denied it.

Knowing that the king was going to punish the trader, he took him to court.

Therefore, trader changed his argument and argued that the bricklayer was responsible for the wall falling and the thief’s death.

Immediately, the king questioned the bricklayer.

The bricklayer blamed builder for the wall collapsing and the thief’s death.

He argued that the builder had poured too much water into the cement mixture and made it too thin, causing the wall to collapse.

Then the goddess came.

She said that she was not at fault and that a potter had made the mouth of the earthen pot too large, causing the water to fall.

Therefore, she argued that the potter was responsible for the thief’s death.

Then the potter was summoned.

While he was shaping the earthen pot, he heard the sound of a flute and was distracted when he returned. A beautiful dancer passed by that way. Therefore, he said that the dancer was responsible for the thief’s death.

Immediately, the dancer was summoned.

She said:  “King, I was going to meet your son privately on his call.”

Hearing this, the king was shocked and dismissed the complaint that the rain was the reason for the thief’s death…

MORAL:

If the king is not good and disciplined, the whole country will suffer. And, the law bends according to the situation in this kaliyuga.
