Three types of Karma has been already discussed in our Site.

Out of these three karmas, the Prarapth karma is the karma allotted in this birth.
That means, out of all the karmic reactions we accrued in our previous births, the karmic reactions that have been allotted to face in this birth is called Prarapth karma.
Whatever reactions we are facing now are the result of our prarapth karma.
This Prarapth karma is further divided into the two types:
Dridh and Adridh Karma, ie, Fixed & Changeable karma respectively.
DRITH KARMA
Drith karma is the fixed akrma because it can’t be changed by any means.
For example, the death period and diseases come under Drith karma.
These can’t be changed by any means.

Parihars (remedies) can’t change our death and diseases.
No one can escape from death and diseases. So, they are Drith karma, ie, fixed karma.
ADRITH KARMA
Adrith karma is the flexible or changeable karma.
That means, Adrith karma can be changed or postponed or slightly reduced with some parihars (remedies).
What is the meaning of “Changed or postponed or reduced”?
Some events in life come under Adrith karma. Eg: Post Marriage difficulties, Marriage delayes, Child birth, Properties, career, earnings, etc.
That means, if one’s karma related to Post Marriage difficulties, Marriage delays, Child birth, Properties, career, earnings, etc., are not very severe, they can be achieved by performing some parihars (remedies).
If the Adrith karma is very strong, parihars (remedies) may need to be done for longer period even for decades in some cases.

I know some cases in which the wife have got a child even after 12 or 13 years after marriage.
Since her child related Adrith karma is very strong, she had to do some remedies for more than 10 years.
If the adrith karma is weak, the result can be achieved, within a few months or years.

You have asked about burning your karma.
All karma can’t be burned.
Drith karma lkike death and diseases will definitely come for everyone.
They can never be avoided though you do any powerful parihars.
So, we should speak only about Adrith karma.
To change or reduce the severity of Adrith karma, you can do the recommended remedies for the concerned planet that causes issues related to adrith karmasuch as Post Marriage difficulties, Marriage delays, Child birth, Properties, career, earnings, etc.

Every planet weakness has some remedies that I am suggesting for the customers of horoscope service.
But, those remedies will work only if your Adrith karma is less severe.
However, it is not wrong to try the simple remedies.
You need not spend lakhs of rupees to perform artificial parihars. Some simple, but heartfelt parihars are enough.
However, though you modify the Adrith karma, it will appear in your next birth.
So, burning one’s karma is recommended.
