SCIENCE AND GOD – STORY
We are thinking that scientists are against God. This incident proves otherwise:
Once a young scientist was travelling in a train.
An old man was sitting opposite to his seat.
This young scientist was watching that old man reading a spiritual book on God with much interest.

This young scientist was smiling within him thinking that this old man is very ignorant and is wasting his valuable time in reading mythological contents of god, creation, etc.
He wanted to teach a lesson to that old man who was reading the holy book.
He asked that old man:
“Why are you wasting your valuable time in reading about God who is not existing at all?”
That old man was silent.
This young scientist told again: “We, the scientists are changing the destiny of this world. We only are creating everything to benefit the people. Where comes God here? In future, we will prove that there is no god at all and only the science will rule this world”
That old man did not care the words of that young scientist and continued his reading.
This young scientist became curious about the calm nature of that old man and started to like him.

In a wish to help him to realize the power of science, he gave his visiting card and told that old man:
“Sir, this is my address. If possible, come to my home. I will prove that only the science is true, not the God.”
That old man silently got his card.
The scientist asked: “Can you please give your card?”
The old man gave his visiting card to the young scientist silently.
Seeing that card, the young scientist was shocked.
Suddenly, he fell on the feet of that old man and prayed for excuse for his ignorance.
Why?
The card said that it was Thomas Alva Edison, who invented more than 1000 scientific inventions.
He said with tears: “Sorry sir, please forgive me for my ignorance. I did not know that you are Edison”.
Thomas Alva Edison replied in a small and smiling voice:
“Its ok, that God will forgive you”
