Why this much of issues in India which Krishna chooses to visit?

“Hare Krishna, Our country India is considered as land of god, as lord takes avatars in India only. But then why is India suffering from lot’s of difficulties in education, healthcare, corruption, in the past foreign invasions, civic sense, income etc. Is it due to corrupt governments or people or some other karmic reason? Are there any solutions, provide if any?”
REPLY:
Genuine doubt only! But, this question has come in your mind because you have missed an important factor that shows the mercy of Krishna towards Indians.
Krishna does not take even a single avatar in United States; But USA stands as the most powerful country in this planet.
Krishna does not take avatars in Netherlands, Switzerland, etc. But those countries remain the most peaceful countries in this planet.

Atheist countries flourish.
But, India is struggling with population and multiple religions, castes, etc.
I can finish my answer by simply saying:
“India is a Spiritual country; Where there is more spirituality, the efforts in material success will be less; So, India is rich in Spirituality where the Lord takes avatars, but not rich in material development. If one develops spiritually, he will not be interested in developing material needs except the basic requirements; Whereas, If one develops his material belongings, he will not be interested in developing spirituality except the prayers during the need;”
Since India excels in spiritually, most of the people will not be interested much in developing material needs except the basic requirements; They get satisfied with what they earn and have.
Since some rich countries are busy in developing material wealth & belongings, those countries will not be interested much in developing spirituality except the prayers during the need.
Simply speaking, where there is excessive material development, involvement in spiritual matters will be less; where there is more spiritual development, involvement in material matters including earnings will be less.
In some cases, too much of material poverty too may affect one’s spiritual development; But in many cases, too much of poverty takes one close to the God because they will be praying to the God.
India may not be comparable to some western countries in the size of economy. But, the people in India has more satisfaction level than the people in rich countries.

One’ s happiness lies in his mindset. Since most of the Indians are happy even if their basic needs are fulfilled, their satisfaction level is more.
But in some rich countries, the people are not fully satisfied and hence they have unrest everywhere because of wars, terrorism, etc.
Rich countries are fighting wars for oil, religion, race, etc.
India is a peaceful democratic country in Asia. (China does not have democracy).
Here, one can observe a subtle and fast change in India that explains your question clearly:
Hundreds of years ago, Indians were living following Indian tradition; Then, the people were happy though they lived in huts.
Of late, Indians have started to live following western lifestyle; Now, same Indians are becoming dissatisfied and unhappy after following western lifestyle of use and spend money using credit card and wait for next month salary.
When the family system was intact and flourishing in India, the people were peaceful and happy. Now, when there are nuclear small families everywhere, the people face more problems.
Thus, we can understand that money can’t make us fully happy. It may give food, shelter and dress. But happiness rests inside in his heart.

His heart becomes happy only when he installs god (Krishna) in his heart.
Most of the Indians have Krishna in their hearts. So, they are happy though they have some material issues in life.
Krishna didn’t choose to speak Bhagavad Gita to Americans or Europians who are materially richer; He chose Indians to speak Bhagavad Gita because India had spiritually intelligent people more than any other country.
So, a country should feel proud to be spiritually rich. Indians should feel proud for being persons of a country that Krishna chooses to visit.
India is spiritually the richest country in this world.
Instead of following west in culture, Indians should proudly follow its own glorious spiritual culture though they live in huts.
