Is earning too much bad for initiated devotees?
A male devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:
“It is said that devotees should not try to earn very high as said by you. You have also mentioned that they should not try to earn very high even for the service of God in one of your post. Then why devotees like ……….. (…………. Prabhuji) disciple of HH …………………………. Maharaj is running a huge business after being initiated. Please reply Prabhuji it’s my humble request please…”

I have been just telling to follow karma Yoga as far as career is concerned.
I do not say that earning high is bad. I have been just telling that we should not fix any target, but should work effectively and accept whatever is offered to us as the Prasadam of Krishna.
I used to also say that we should spend part of our earnings for the service of Krishna and really suffering persons to purify our earning.

I always preach not to be selfish to enjoy the earnings for your benefits alone, but always consider that profit as if given by Krishna expecting that you will help devotion and downtrodden people.
“DEIVAM MANUSHYA RUPENA”.
This means, God helps thru people only. So, whatever we get in our career is God’s (Krishna’s) money and Krishna expects us that we should spend part of that money for others and devotion.
And, I have been always preaching to develop detachment from the materials.
I am also following that.
I do not earn too much, but, earning something by squeezing my brain, nerves and body for more than 14 hrs a day most of the days. Mine is not a cool earning.
However, I never fail to support the temples, devotees and even poor people who come across me.

Why I tell all these things?
Earning is not in our hands. You can not fix your earnings. It is fixed as per your karma network’s procedures.
You may plan this and that. But, it is fulfilled by your karma network, which is the Justice department of Krishna.
So, please quote my words correctly with proof and background. This is my kind request.
Now, tell me, what should I do if Krishna sends me ten crore rupees as surprise earning?
I want just far less than a lakh for my living and future savings as earned by most of the employees and middle class people.
If earning too much bad for initiated devotees, Should I throw that 10 crores on the streets?
It is rewarded by Krishna.
We can’t throw them on the streets or we should not buy more and more houses.

We should keep for our living and use the excess money for others, particularly for devotion, devotees and visually and mentally challenged and Poor people.
Krishna will not magically throw currencies inside the house of every suffering person who worship Him
Instead, He gives more to those for whom their karma network permits earning more with a hidden condition that THEY SHOULD IDENTIFY THE GENUINE CAUSES AND GENUINELY SUFFERING PERSONS AND SUPPORT THEM.
Krishna gives excess money only for that purpose.
“DEIVAM MANUSHYA RUPENA”.
Krishna gives us knowledge and guidance through gurus and genuine media like our and other media who have no hidden agenda, but has only elevating others as their sole motive.
Have you heard anyone saying that I am compelling the devotees for money?

I do not even send forcing messages or promotional writings to drive money by making the devotees embracing.
I just give it as a voluntary option to support, that too, for using our services. And, I just give gentle reminders occasionally.
Why I follow such an approach?
Because, Krishna preached so, ie, to just do our duty without expectation of benefits. I am preaching to my level best without forcing the devotees to help me. .
Still our media is running. Because, Krishna identifies some kind hearted devotees and make them to keep this site alive by using our Paid & Free Services.
Krishna knows how much to allow the devotees to grow financially because He knows what level of financial standing will uplift a devotee and what level will degrade him.
So, if Krishna gives whatever earning, we should accept that.
Most importantly, we are not the owners of the money we have. We are just NOMINEES.

If you appoint a nominee for your bank account, after your demise, that nominee can not own your money. Instead, he should distribute that money as said by you in your WILL or if there is no WILL, to the legal heirs.
A nominee can’t own the money of the depositor.
Similarly, we have been nominated to use this earning as per the dharma and conscience. Only if they lead a miserly life, earning too much is bad for initiated devotees!
Do not compare the Initiated devotees with the rules for sanyasis. Only the sanyasis are barred by the vedic texts from running business, go to jobs, keep savings and do administration. Initiated devotees should work thinking of Krishna and also serve Krishna in as many ways as possible. Temple resident initiated devotees too work hard to serve for Krishna and lead their life. So, working is our dharma.
Even sanyasis should w0rk for the world population. One can’t escape from work.
One should work, earn and help others properly as explained above.
So, do not feel guilty if Krishna gives you more. That means, Krishna has nominated you also, to support the suffering people and devotional services.
This my honest and ALL TIME VIEW about earning and using the earnings.
