Is Vaccination for diseases like Covid-19 for devotees allowed?

“Hare Krishna prabhuji. You are the right person to ask this question. You know we are surrendered to Krishna and believe Krishna will protect us. Then, should we vaccinate ourselves for deadly diseases like Covid-19? Please explain Prabhuji.”

Every devotee should definitely get vaccinated if his/ her doctor do not object.
No need to think excessively about this.
During the Pandemics, only those who are careful to protect themselves can survive.

So, Pandemics are the excempted periods from a certain rules for taking medicines.
For examples, when a devotee is admitted in the hospitals, he entrusts himself to the doctors. So, he will be under the control of the doctors. So, in such extreme situations, using a certain medicines will be forgiven.
Some times, some devotees are administered narcotics that are unavoidable.
There are many examples from the history for the eminent devotees and acharyas who have used vaccines to protect themselves from pandemics or viral or bacterial diseases.
For example, once a fever called Yellow Fever was spreading in Africa. At that time, Srila Prabhupada went to Africa. As advised by the doctirs, Srila Prabhupada vaccinated himself to protect from the Yellow fever pandemic.
Srila Prabhupada also got vaccinated for Flu fever many times.
Most of the current spiritual masters who get affected by some ailments do not refuse to get admitted in the hospitals. Even transplantations have been done. Because, their service is much needed for the devotee community. So, we try to protect their lives by any legal means. That’s all.

Instead, protect yourself and stay safe after vaccination and live many years to serve the Lord.
You can serve many more years to Krishna.
So, consult your family doctor and if he permits, go to the vaccination centers today itself and get vaccinated.
Medical treatments are also the arrangements of Krishna for us to recover from illnesses and serve Him still better.
