Do tough exercises reduce the lifetime because of more breathing?

Prabhuji what about those who are part of sports activities like Football, basketball and swimming etc. Also those who regularly workout in Gym and go for daily running.. In fact they live more healthy and long life compared to others. Also devotees dance in temples during sankirtan. Just curious to know in detail. Thanks.”

According to the Indian systems of medicines, a person should actively use his body for physical works.
Why this advice?
Because sufficient blood circulation will be there in all parts of body.
Body should be active. That’s all.
This activity should be bearable to the body.
Aggressive movements can be avoided.
Excessively tough exercises reduce the lifetime because of more breathing.

Our Indian culture has inbuilt facilities for body movements in one’s day to day life.
Before the invention of machines for all activities the people did everything using their physical strength.
The males worked in the fields having bulls as assistants.
The women used manual grinders, mobs, cleaners, etc., for powdering, grinding, etc.
So, their bodies had the opportunities for sufficient physical works.
All those physical works are to the bearable level to human bodies.
Even as exercise, fast walking is recommended, not fast running.
The purpose of walking is to give movements to the body. Fast running makes the body excessively tired.
Such a normal physical works, walking, climbing, etc., keeps the body sufficiently active to the optimum level.
But excessive physical works makes the body exhausted excessively.
Sometimes deaths happen while performing tough physical exercises, boxing games, etc.
Because, our body has a capacity to remain comfortable during a physical work.
We should not cross that limit.
The strengths of hearts are not same for everyone.

If a person who has decreased supply of blood to the heart (or) poor pumping of blood by heart performs tough exercises, he suddenly dies with cardiac arrest or heart failure.
Do you know many heart attacks happen when the persons run fast with tension to catch the train or bus?
Even deep sleep makes the heart beat high. That is why, many heart attacks happen between 2 to 4am when the person with weak heart (Not for all) goes into the deep sleep.
So, the point is, we should not give overload to the heart.
Because, our hearts have the capacity to pump the blood to a certain level.
Let these details be. Let us now see what happens for those who performs gyms and heavy exercises.
See, Gyms or heavy exercises will be tolerated by our body until our hearts are functioning to its full capacity.
Many people may have weak hearts that they themselves may not know. Heart gives signals only if it is disturbed to an extreme level.
For example, when the blocks in the arteries are up to even 90%, the heart manages pumping the blood. Only when the block goes to the extreme level of 90% or more, the heart shows signals as heart attacks.
That is why, it is advised to take regular ECG and Echo tests atleast once in two years even for normal people.
Because we can find out if any block grows in the path of blood in the beginning stage itself and can clear it even with the tablets.
Yes, when we do too much of exercises, our lifetime comes down because we waste our breathe. However, we can live some healthy life till we are alive.
Even dancing should be gentle. It should not be aggressive. However, since we dance in the temples only for 10-15 minutes once a week, it may not consume that much of breathes.

But daily tough excercises definitely reduces the life time, but physically active life till we are alive.
Any activity, if done beyond the bearable levels may consume more breathes.
See, these controls are only for those who like to extend his life time beyond the fixed average lifetime of 100 years.
Only if we delay the breathing, we can extend our lifetime as done by some saints.
Even pranayama is one such yoga act to delay the breathing.
So, the point is, normal and bearable exercises, yoga performance, household works, simple walking, etc., are enough for a healthy living for a person.
Someone may involve in excessive physical acts for fame as a popular sportspersons.
Simple games like Cricket do not involve in excessive physical performance. Just running and catching are involved.
But some games like boxing needs excessive physical activities that cost life sometimes.
So, normal and bearable physical activities are recommended.
Excessive and stressful physical activities may cost the life.
