MARRIAGE CONDITIONS – STORY

MARRIAGE CONDITIONS – STORY

A Girl’s father gets a call. Without allowing the opponent to talk, he starts to list his conditions for giving her daughter in marriage, thinking that the caller is a boy’s father.

Discussion starts:

“Sir… I am from T. Nagar in Chennai and want to talk to you about your daughter’s marriage.”

“Before you talk about my daughter’s marriage, let us tell you what kind of groom we are looking for for our daughter.. Then you talk.”

“Sir! Wait a minute.. what am I going to say…”

“Don’t say anything… Listen to what I say first! Then tell me!”

“Well.. first say whatever you want to say.. then I will say it.”

“We see our girl as a boy who is 6,5,4,3,2,1.”

“6,5,4,3,2,1, so what?”

“What is 6,5,4,3,2,1?”

“6 means, the Boy should get salary in 6 digits i.e. atleast 1 lakh salary per month.

5 means, 5 Lakhs should be given to our girl with a diamond necklace during her engagement.

4 means, the boy should own a 4 wheeler car.

3 means, the boy should have his own flat with 3 rooms in the boy’s name.

2 means, Only the boy and girl should live in the house. His parents should live separately.

1 means, after marriage, my daughter will have  only one child.. that too only when she wants.

Then if we okay your boy, you should give him the SALARY certificate.

In order to know that he is eligible to wear a diamond necklace, he needs to give us his bank statement.

I want RC certificate of the car in the boy’s name and property document of the flat.”

The girl’s father finished.

“Are all the above mentioned, the conditions for your daughter’s marriage?”

“My daughter is a little girl! She doesn’t know all this.. Take it easy sir.. These are the conditions we put. We have brought up the only girl very well.
These are the conditions we put in place so that she doesn’t go to the husband’s house and suffer.. She doesn’t know how to clean the house and and put Rangoli.. She doesn’t know how to cook.. She gets up only at 10 o’clock on her day off.”

Then another thing.. My daughter is self-respecting, who does not fall on anyone’s feet and bow down.. If you okay all this, then my daughter, my wife will talk to you about marriage!”

The other person replied:

“Sir! I’m confused by what you said… I am not looking for bride for my boy sir..”

“Then why do you want to talk about my daughter’s marriage?”

“You didn’t allow me to talk sir.. I am the inspector of the police station in T. Nagar… Your daughter, today she fell in love with a boy who is next to the mechanic shop on your street, ran away with him, got married in the temple on the street corner and came to the police station seeking our security… Do you agree to this marriage? In a fear that you will separate them, they are asking for police protection.”

“What”…

He fell down unconsciously.

MORAL:

Don’t sell your children for comforts and money. They may have different karma written already.
