Falsely Religious Or Rational – Story

Falsely Religious Or Rational – Story

In a company, the HR manager gives a form to a new employee who has just joined the office.

The HR Manager asked him to fill it out.

Visitor: So, It seems you have asked me what my religion is!

HR MANAGER: Yes, please write down what your religion is. You have a mole on your forehead. If so, write down Hindu…

Visitor: This is the first time I have heard such data from a corporate company. I belong to a rationalist group.

HR:  Wait a minute, brother. You get holidays as per your religion in this company.

Visitor: No, I don’t understand.

HR: Now, if you are a rationalist, then you don’t get any leave for Diwali, Sankaranti, Saraswati Puja, Ganapati Puja, etc.  You have to come to the office every Christmas, Ramzan, etc.  If you are a rationalist, you should come to the office during the festivals of all religions.

Visitor: Which one?

HR: Yes, brother. Then, does your brother know Tamil?

Visitor: Yes, but at home it is Telugu. I am good at English.

HR:  Oh, then Tamil New Year holiday is also gone. Then, tell me “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.

Visitor: I can’t say all that, sir, I am rational..

HR:  Okay, Since you don’t accept Bharat Mata, Republic Day, Independence Day holiday are not there. You are going to work very hard for the company on all the holidays.

Visitor:  No leave is there for me for all festivals?  Oh, I am Hindu, I am Hindu.

HR: Hey rationalist, you told that you are a rationalist.

Visitor:  Oh…. What is the use in being rational! No gains! Let me enter my religion as Hindu.

MORAL:

In this kaliyuga, the people change their religions for want of some material benefits. Some people start to hate the God and become rationalists who say that they have no religion. But, most people either change the religion or hate religions keeping the material benefits in mind. These people are Falsely Religious Or Rational.

Being a devotee of Krishna does not depend on any religion. Anyone in any stage can follow Krishna Consciousness.

So, being rationalist or being identified with any religion should not be because of some expectations or frustration with any concept. It should be the outcome of wise considerations.
