15 boons got by Hanuman that gave him immortality and Powers!
Hanuman in his childhood wanted to eat the sun thinking that as a bog fruit.
Indra saw Hanuman coming to eat the sun, he threw his Vajra weapon (thunderbolt) to strike him down.
In this process Hanuman’s left cheekbone was injured.

Hanuman’s father Vayu, the wind god got angry seeing his son’s injury.
So he stopped circulating the air in the three worlds.
The people feared death without air.
The devas, who are the controllers of the affairs of the planets, decided to calm down Vayu deva.
Every deva gave a boon to Hanuman:

Let us now read them from the Kishkindha Kanda and From Uttara Kanda of the Ramayana:
(1)
Brahma gave you a boon that Hanuman can not be killed by any missile.
(2)
Indra gave a boon that Hanuman’s death occurs only by his own volition.
(3)
When Lord Rama left this planet for Vaikunta, He gave a boon to Hanuman that Hanuman will live in this world as long as Rama’s story exists in this world. Hanuman also assured rama that he will follow his master Rama’s commands being here.

Since it was Indra’s thunderbolt that broke the Jaw of hanuman, to please Vayu, Indra gave a boon to Hanuman that he can not be affected even by Indra’s thunderbolt and Indra gave the Name to him as HANUMAN.

The Sun god gave this boon to Hanuman that Hanuman will get 1 percent of the brightness of the sun and the Sun god will enable Hanuman to easily learn the scriptures better than anyone else in this world..

Surya deva also gave Hanuman two Yoga siddhis “laghima” and “garima”, ie, to be able to attain the smallest or to attain the biggest form.

Kamadeva also granted a boon that the sex will not be effective on hanuman and he will remain a Pure Bala Brahmachari that ensures his eternal life.

Varuna deva gave Hanuman a boon that he will not die because of water.
(9)
Yama gave a boon that Hanuman will have very good health and he will not be affected by his rod of chastisement – Danda.
(10)
The lord of wealth Kuvera granted him the boon that his mace will not cause Hanuman’s death in battles and that he will not become tired in battles.

Lord Siva, on His part granted the boon that hanuman will not die because of Him and His weapons.

Vishvakarma gave Hanuman a boon that Hanuman will not die with Vishvakarma’s weapons.

Lord Brahma, on his part granted the boon that Hanuman will not be kkilled by his rod of chastisement and to curse from brahmanas and hanuman can take any form as wished by him and he can travel very fast everywhere.
(14)
Brahma also granted the boon that nobody will be able to kill Hanuman with any weapon in war and Hanuman will have the power of inducing fear in enemies and of destroying fear in friends.

Agni granted a boon to hanuman that he will have immunity from fire.
All these 15 BOONS THAT GAVE HANUMAN IMMORTALITY AND POWERS could not induce ego from Hanuman! He is always humble.
