How to control mind seeing women in glamorous dress publicly?
A male devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:
“Hare Krishna. In this world, men and women are walking on a road. But, without thinking the presence of others, some girls or women wear thin modern short dress! As a boy it attracts me. How can I avoid this feeling? What shall I think if I seen a beautiful girl or women in short dress? How brahmacharis in iskcon control their feelings seeing such beautiful girl?”
REPLY:
Ha Ha… You seem to have been disturbed by those women!
Not only you, but most of the males get disturbed seeing the women remaining in glamorous dress in public places.
But, learnt males and females will not get disturbed by seeing the the bodies.

Why?
Because they know the reality behind the bodies!
What is the reality?
They know that the body is made up of five material elements – Earth, water, fire, air and ether (empty space).
Whatever we see outside remains within our bodies also.
Only because the body has earthly elements, it becomes one with the soil after death. It has water and three types of air. It has fire that digests the food and also keep the temperature of body stable. The body also has empty space.
Both the material worlds and material bodies are made up of the same elements.
So, our bodies are also destructible and temporary like these material worlds!
In local terms, this body is packed with flesh, saliva, urine, stool, pus, etc.
This body looks temporarily attractive because of the colourful skin that is also ageing day by day.
Once the soul leaves the body, that body starts to contaminate from the next second and starts to smell bad after a few hours. Ants and flies come and eat that body.

Even the beloved wife and children will not choose to keep that body at home beyond a few hours after death.
And even while living, this body will smell bad if a person does not take bath for two days.
This is the fate of our temporarily beautiful bodies.
These women and even men are exposing this nonsense body only thinking themselves as modern and advanced.
They forget that their skin is shrinking day by day and they are losing their charm everyday.
So, an intelligent and matured person will not get attracted by these bodies.
His target/ goal is to get an eternal position as the servant of Krishna in His Kingdom!
He does not prefer temporary pleasures and temporary positions like big businessman, big politician, etc.

So, only the aimless persons get attracted by the glamorous girls. Those who have higher goals in life will not prefer such temporary pleasures.
If they busily involve in seeking material pleasures, they miss the eternal blessing of being with Krishna.
So, whenever you see such glamerous girls, think of the reality behind those beautiful bodies and the contents those bodies have and also the state of that body after the soul leaves it.
Also keep in mind, choose a good devotee girl and find a meaningful relationship with her after marrying her. Both of you develop a nice devotional family and develop your children as devotees.
That regulated life will take you and your wife towards Krishna.
Stop wondering and losing your control seeing the nasty body covered by colourful skin.

They are ignorant and aimless and hence they are exposing their bodies publicly.
Have higher goal of getting Krishna! Do everything to get Him! Use this life to get Krishna! That is the real purpose of human life.
Hereafter don’t see them with deep interest and don’t take them to your mind.
Those who have higher goals should not give importance for lower temporary attractions.
Let them go even naked. You proceed with your higher goals.
You are the person who is going to be really happy and successful in life.
