SRI BALADEVA STOTRAM WITH MEANING!
(From the Śrī Garga-saṁhita, Balabhadra-khaṇḍa, Chapter 11)

devādideva bhagavan
O God of gods! I bow to You, O Bhagavān Kāmapāla! O Balarāma, I venerate for You are infinity, You are the substratum of existence and Time itself as Śeṣa Ananta—‘the Infinite End’.

dharādharāya pūrṇāya
svadhāmne sīra-pāṇaye
sahasra-śirase nityaṁ
namaḥ saṅkarṣaṇāya te (2)

You uphold the universe. You are whole and complete, replete with Your supreme power. You hold a plow in Your hand. O thousand-headed Saṅkarṣaṇa, I bow to You for eternity.

revatī-ramaṇa tvaṁ vai
baladevācyutāgraja
halāyudha pralamba-ghna
pāhi māṁ puruṣottama (3)

O Baladeva! You are the husband of Revatī and the older brother of Acyuta. You wield the plow as a weapon. You are the killer of Pralamba. Protect me, O Supreme Person.

balāya balabhadrāya
tālāṅkāya namo namaḥ
nīlāmbarāya gaurāya
rohiṇeyāya te namaḥ (4)

I bow to You, O Bala, O Balabhadra. Your flag sports the image of palm tree, You dress in blue garments, Your complexion is golden, and You are the son of Rohiṇī.

dhenukārir-mūṣṭikāriḥ
kūṭārir-balbalāntakaḥ
rukmy-ariḥ kūpa-kaṛṇāriḥ
kumbhāṇḍāris tvam eva hi (5)

You are the enemy of Dhenuka, Muṣṭika and Kūṭa, and the ender of Balbala. You are also the destroyer of Rukmī, Kūpakarṇa and Kumbhāṇḍa.

kālindī-bhedano’si tvaṁ
hastināpura-karṣakaḥ
dvividārir-yādavendro
vraja-maṇḍala-maṇḍanaḥ (6)

You diverted the Yamunā river and brought her towards Hastināpura. You killed the Dvivida gorilla. You are the best of the Yādavas and the splendor of Vraja.

kaṁsa-bhatṛ-prahantasi
tīrtha-yātrākara prabhuḥ
duryodhana-guruḥ sakṣāt
pāhi pāhi prabho tvataḥ (7)

You killed Kaṁsa’s brothers, traveled far and wide on pilgrimage. You are master and guru to Duryodhana. O Prabhu! Protect me, please protect me!

jaya jayacyuta deva paratpara
svayam ananta diganta-gata-śruta
sura-munīndra-phaṇīndra-varāya te
muṣaline baline haline namaḥ

O Acyuta! All glory to You! All glory to You! O Supreme Lord! You are Ananta Himself! Your glories are spread to the ends of all directions. You are the worshipable Lord of the demigods, sages, and great snakes. You are the powerful wielder of the plow and mace. I bow unto You.

yaḥ paṭhet satataṁ stavanaṁ naraḥ
sa tu hareḥ paramaṁ padamāvrajet
jagati sarva-balaṁ tvari-mardanaṁ
bhavati tasya dhanaṁ svajano ghanam (9)

That man who diligently studies this hymn will attain the supreme position of service to Śri Hari, and while in this world will have all the strength necessary to vanquish his enemies and accrue wealth and relatives.
