Yantras Charity Gem Stones & Planet Beej Mantras are meant to strengthen the weak planets and to calm down the strong negative planets. But, these parihars (remedies) are effective only for a small section of people whose karma is not so strong.
YANTRAS AS PARIHARS (REMEDIES
Yantras are the structures made on the metal sheets made from gold, silver, copper, etc.
Every planet has a form of structure that attracts the goodness of the rays of those planets more.
Yantras are made to attract different gods such as Sree (Lakshmi) and Kubera to become rich, Vasthu Yantra for Vasthu doshas, Navagraha yantras, etc.
Even when the temples are constructed, some powerful yantras of those gods are kept under the soil on which the Garbh Graha is constructed or under the deities.

The structure made on every yantra follows a unique pattern specific to the particular deity or planet.
They attract more positive rays of those deities or planets that benefit the person who uses these yantras.
These yantras have been used even during vedic periods that are seen in Puranas.
But, there is a risk in using the yantras.
Unless these yantras are prepared by the experienced and pure experts, they are of no use.
Yantras are almost similar to the deities of gods.
When the deities are prepared, the sculpter follows strict discipline and rules.
To carve the Ugra Narasimha deities for mayapur, the devotees of ISKCON came to Tamilnadu to order to carve the deity of Narasimha deva because there is a well qualified sculpter in Tamilnadu.
Now a days, the yantras are prepared in thousands of numbers in bulk in factories and even unqualified brahmanas give power to those yantras.
So, we can not ascertain the effectiveness of the yantras in this kaliyuga.
So, I do not recommend yantras. Instead, Gem stones are recommended because original gem stones are available even now.
GEM STONES AS PARIHARS (REMEDIES)
Original Gem stones meant for every planet attract the rays of that planet and focus on our body. So, if any planet is weak in our horoscope, these gem stones attract little more rays of that planet. So, some good signs can be expected in some cases whose karma is not so severe..

CHARITY AS PARIHARS (REMEDIES)
Charity definitely works because it is directly connected to the karma exchange.
BECAUSE, YOU NOT ONLY GIVE GIFTS, BUT ALSO GIVE PART OF YOUR KARMA.
If you sacrifice some of your hard earned money for others, you lose a part of your karma and the receiver acquires that karma. So, you gradually you get purified.
But, this charity should be done without pride and you should not tell others that you have helped others in a motive of showing pride. It won’t work. However, if u like to encourage others to help, you can tell without mentioning the receiver name and without pride.
You should do charity with a neutral mind with the purpose of really helping others. Charity should not be done for publicity. It will not work. Though you expect extra honours from a receiver for helping him, it will not work.
In one of the ISKCON centers managed by my friendly God brother, a devotee had donated lakhs of rupees. One day, in a misunderstanding, he told that manager: “I have done lakhs of support to this center, but you are treating me like treating others”.
Such a charity will not invite the mercy of the Lord because it is done with pride and ego.
However the receiver of the charity should glorify the donor privately and encourage him. He should not insult that donor.
The point is: The donor should not expect honour or glorification; But the receiver should appreciate the donor voluntarily and privately.
This private appreciation is harmless as the donor will not be caught by ego or pride.

Why should we appreciate him? Because, that donor is sacrificing his earning for our center/ temple.
The scriptures advice that the charity done by the right hand should not be known even to the left hand. It is the real charity.
If you help to a rascal, that charity will not work.
There are some people who think : “I supported to this person for long. My issues are continuing. Hereafter, let me support another person to whom my rich neighbour support”. This type of selfish support also will not work.
If you help a selfless person or really suffering person or a good devotee or a suffering temple, you will get real effects and your pains will gradually come down.
That is why, Srila Prabhupada encouraged us to spend for devotional services from our earning.

BEEJ MANTRAS OF PLANETS AS PARIHARS (REMEDIES)
Actually, every planet functions under the control of a deity. For example, in every horoscope, Mercury represents Vishnu or Narayana or Krishna.
In my horoscope, Mercury is 90% powerful in the fifth auspicious house that is the own house of Mercury with Jupiter forming Gaja Kesari Yoga aspecting the house of moksha.

That is why, I became a devotee of Krishna and am successfully guiding others in Krishna Bhakti. Only because of this approval of Krishna thru my horoscope, I could sacrifice my earning business and choose devotional service as my primary activity of this birth.
So, our karma can direct us to move towards devotion.
But, not karma alone. There are other approvals also.
If a devotee has no such karma, he too can become a devotee if he associates and supports a great vaishnava who has strong and auspicious Mercury.
That is why, Good association purifies even a sinner.
That is why, Srila Prabhupada could create so many devotees.
Last week, after reading our reply to a girl devotee, she said in comment that she came to Krishna Consciousness through our site service. This is the real testimony of the efficacy of our service. Thus, hundreds of devotees have started devotional practices getting catalyzed by our service.

But, I have noted in ISKCON centers that most of the devotees will be very sincere till they learn something and get diksha. After diksha, many will stop coming to the temple/ center regularly. Only a small portion of the devotees continue to be sincere even after getting diksha and till they are alive.
This is called ego and carelessness. If you got benefitted by a temple, you should be loyal to that temple till you die. Being humble till getting diksha and then escaping as if he is a big devotee who has already attained goloka, it is ignorance. Such devotees may need another or more births to get purified.
You can see in our preaching service also such a trend. Only a few sincere and honest devotees are with this media even after they go to the level of diksha. Many others learn something and become silent as if they do not need the services like this any more.
So, we should be honest in following devotion. It should be selfless.
If you are that much sincere in following Krishna Consciousness, you need not chant Beej mantras of the planets. Because, Gayathri and / or Hare Krishna mantra are the most powerful mantras.

However, if you expect some material benefits, you can chant those beej manthras of every planet as recommended by your astrologer. These beej manthras glorify the planet concerned and hence the devatha of the planet gets satisfied. So, that planet’s ill effects may be softened to the bearable level.
But even these material benefits are given by Krishna only. So, you can directly glorify Krishna. But, Krishna will not give any boon that may affect the life of the devotee later in his life.
So, if you want the safest boon only, glorify Krishna and accept only the safe blessings given by Him though many of your unsafe prayers may go unanswered by Krishna.
If you are ready to face even the negative effects of a boon, you can approach any deity and glorify that deity.
The beej mantras of the planets cause some unique vibrations that may reach those planets. So, those planets get satisfied and soften the negatives to some extent.
FIRE YAGNAS AS PARIHARS (REMEDIES)
These fire yagnas as Parihars (remedies) for doshas are also partially effective only if done by well qualified brahmanas and with a humble mindset of feeling deeply for past sins of previous births. Just mechanical fire yagnas just by unqualified brahmanas throwing some money just because you have more with you will not be effective.

WILL PARIHARS BENEFIT ALL THOSE WHO DO THEM?
No. If the karma is very serious, it can be cleared only by facing the similar situation. Just by using the Yantras Charity Gem Stones & Planet Beej Mantras, etc, serious doshas can not be cleared. That is why many marriages face issues though some ritualistic parihars such as Yantras Charity Gem Stones & Planet Beej Mantras are done.
Offenses like Vaishnava offence, brahmana offense, Guru dhroha, killing or blaspheming the good and pious parents can not be recovered by parihars. Those offenses will be cleared only if the affected persons declare that he has forgiven your offense.
And, any parihar should be done by shedding tears from heart feeling for our past offenses that led to the doshas.
