How to get faster help from Krishna like getting from Lord Shiva?
A male devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:
(1)Hare Krishna Prabhu Ji, I have one more ques… i love krishna, i know he is the supreme lord… but m getting more attached nd close to lord shiva… i tried my best not to ask anything from lord shiva except krishna’s bhakti.. but life was extremely tough.. and krishna was not helping me matetially and i think that was not giving me mental peace also, i was unable to focus on krishna… i failed my loyalty towards krishna and some material happiness from lord shiva and immediatly it was granted and life was bit better… my wish and reciprocation of my wish from lord shiva is making me more attached to lord shiva, I know he is very Bholla…. but i also know that i failed in my loyalty test by lord krishna… what do i do… in my dreams also I have seen lord krishna not happy with me… plz help me prabhu ji…. i am a big looser… what shall i do…. i am unable to face challenges/ struggles in life… how can i maturely handle this…. your humble servant.

Such thoughts arise because ‘we expect something from God’.
See, no one has any objection if you worship other Gods. But, what matters is that the purpose for which the devotees approach them.
If you have any material needs, you may pray to the other gods. Actually, if you are destined to live without a ‘particular thing’, you may be praying to the other gods to offer that ‘Particular thing’ that has been prohibited by your karma.

Since other gods are not capable of studying your karma account, they too may bless you to have that ‘particular thing’. So, you may get it.
But, those gods are not responsible for the ill effects you get after getting that ‘particular thing’ from the demigods.
The demigods will not bother about the positive or negative effects of the boons they give to you. If you cry, they may give.
Even the same ‘particular thing’ offered by them may be the cause for your future miseries. They do not bother about it.
Krishna is not like that.
He will not like to give you something unless it will elevate you.

Do you know what my prayers are every day?
A part of my daily prayer is this:
“Krishna, please engage me in your service all the time. Though I do not like to take further births but like to come back to you, I leave that decision to you. You can handle me as you like. You know how to use me in your service. Do not deny your service even a single day to me”
Even when I was in the “Intensive Care Unit (ICU)” in the hospital for my health issues in the year 2019when the doctors declared that I was dying, I was praying to Krishna like this:
“Krishna, if you like me to serve you for more time, you will extend my life. If you think that my services are enough, you will end my life. You know everything. It is your discretion. But, I like to serve you and your devotees. That’s all”
What happened?
I came alive again.

This is the incident that happened in the year 2019:
On Saturday, I was eating a sapota, i.e, chikoo fruit that had been offered to Krishna.
I removed the seeds, but a single seed had been inside.
Without noticing that, I bit that fruit with usual force.
The seed broke one of my tooth. One fourth of the tooth was vertically half broken but not coming out of gums.
So, I went to the dentist. He treated and removed that 25% broken part alone keeping the remaining 75% of that tooth intact again. Relief from pain.
I was returning to my home in my bicycle (I like cycling).
I was keeping the cash bag with Rs.5000, an ATM card, etc., in it. I was keeping my mobile phone in my pant pocket.
When I was driving the cycle, the bag had fallen down on a speed breaker. I noticed it after going to about 500-600 meters of distance.
I was shaken because the bag had my ATM card also along with the money that I had withdrawn for paying house rent.
I came back to the spot and searched for my bag. Could not find it though I searched three times.
Even in that situation, I did not pray to Krishna. I just rushed to my home to deactivate my ATM card using my net banking account.
When I was going to home, there was a Vishnu temple. I have visited there regularly. When I was standing outside that temple thinking how to proceed next, I had a call from an unknown number.

The caller asked:
“Sir, did you miss your cash bag?”
I could not believe what happens.
I said: “Yes sir, I am searching that here and there on road. I could not find it”
He said: “I just found it and was thinking what to do. But, there was a dentist prescription in that bag that had your mobile number. So, I called. Please wait outside the Vishnu temple. I will come and give”
He came in a bike and handed over my cash bag back to me OUTSIDE THE VISHNU TEMPLE.
I could not believe what happened. I just looked at the smiling deities that was visible from outside.
In India, such incidents are rare. It happened to me outside the Vishnu temple though I did not pray to Krishna.

Why Krishna sent that person?
Because, it was the money I earned through genuine means. And, Krishna knows that I will not ask Him for help because I have full trust in Him. He also knows that His devotee has to take pains to deactivate the ATM cards.
So, He Himself acted to help me. That too, outside His temple to indicate that it was Krishna who arranged this lila.
Krishna also taught me to be careful in handling our holdings while travelling.
Thus, if you are sincere in serving Him, Krishna will voluntarily help you.
I strongly believe every second that KRISHNA IS PERSONALLY WATCHING ME AND HE IS WATCHING EVERY DEVOTEE WHO IS SERVING HIM AND VAISHNAVAS.
He will help you though you do not ask if that help will make you serve Him better.
Had He not helped me on that day, I would have spent time and mental worries unnecessarily to go to bank.
He saved the valuable time of His devotee that is mostly spent for His service only. He will not make my time go waste.
Asking for money and other benefits from Krishna is also permitted. But, it is the Initial stage of devotion.
Krishna classified His devotees based on the purpose with which they approach Krishna – the distressed, the inquisitive, those who seek material gain, and the speculative philosophers.

But, first class devotees worship Krishna JUST FOR KRISHNA. Not for anything else. So, Krishna says that though all these types of devotees are also His devotees, these first class Nishkam devotees who worship Krishna with no expectations except His service are called by Krishna as the dearest devotees to Him. Because, they are totally surrendered to Him WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATIONS. So, They are at the topmost level.
That is why, Srila Prabhupada encouraged this TOPMOST STAGE of Nishkam devotion, ie, approaching Krishna for His love and service. A devotee should try to come to the stage of Nishkam devotion in which his devotees should not have any demands from the Lord except His service.
Only these Nishkam devotees will go back to Krishna’s kingdom. Other categories of devotees will take some more births and come to the Nishkam stage and then go back to the Lord. That’s all.
So, if you like to go back to Krishna within this birth itself, do not ask anything from Him EXCEPT THE CHANCE TO SERVE HIM WHEREVER HE WANTS!
THIS IS THE MATURED DEVOTION.
So, do not jump in joy just because other gods are instantly helping you.
Those boons are not insured against further losses.
Krishna’s help is insured against fall down in life.
Do not think about How to get faster help from Krishna. Just Keep your heart only for Krishna. Respect and honour all other gods. Enough.
You too will feel that ‘insured feeling’ soon.
