POWER OF THANKING – STORY

POWER OF THANKING – STORY

The Six letter mantra is “THANKS” and Power of THANKING is not limited. It is exciting to say this.

Look at the face of whoever you say THANKS to and you will understand the meaning of your word.

If you follow these in your life you will be on the path of progress.

The boy who was delivering goods from door to door was very hungry.

He had no money to buy something to eat.

He thought he could ask for something to eat at a nearby house.

He knocked at the door. A woman opened the door.

He is too shy to ask for food.

‘Can I have some water?’ He asked hesitantly.

She noticed the hunger in the boy’s eyes.

She went inside and brought a cup of milk.

After drinking the milk, the hungry boy asked, “How much do I owe?”

“Debt? Nothing like that. Mother has said that there is no price for kindness”, she said with a smile.

‘Thank you very much…’ the boy passed with a smile.

Years passed.

The boy became the greatest doctor in the city.

The girl also got a fatal disease. She was also admitted to the same hospital where she worked.

Her examination came from that doctor.

When he read the woman’s hometown in the medical report, a small lightning flashed inside him.

He quickly went to the room and saw the girl. She is the one – the same good hearted woman who gave milk to him when he was hungry many years ago.

From that day he devoted all his efforts and gave her excellent treatment.

After long treatment, she recovered.

It costs several lakhs.

The hospital sent the woman a long bill. She was stunned as she took it apart nervously wondering how she was going to pay it.

At the end of the bill was written,

“All your debts are settled in a cup of milk. It’s time to give THANKS.’

Her eyes watered.

One of the greatest qualities a man should possess is GRATITUDE.

THANKS is a small word. But, the power of thanking is unlimited.

But the mental excitement and joy it brings is immeasurable.

People who don’t know how to be thankful for the little things can’t be thankful for the big things.

There are many ways to say THANKS in this modern age. An SMS, even a short email line can convey your gratitude.

It’s wonderful to grace someone with a “THANKS” at an unexpected time.

Try listing ten good things the person did and offering your heartfelt thanks or a gift for them.

No doubt it will be an important moment in that person’s life.
