What is the meaning of seeing Krishna in dreams?
Two devotees with similar question:
(1) A male student (Name hidden) asked:
“Prabuji. I saw Krishna in my dream yesterday with cows in the forest. is it that I am going close to Krishna? Please answer this.”
(2) A woman devotee asked like this requesting anonymity:
“Hare Krishna Rajan Sir…!!! How are u? Rajan Sir, first of all I would like to say that after reading your post my life has been changed. Whenever I read your post I feel blessed. You are the motivational point at fb. Dear Sir I have one question and I know no one can clear my doubts except you. As you have the answers of all questions.
90 % of my night dreams come true whatever I see in my dreams after some days it turns into really. I am not telling lie. All dreams I share with my family members and friends and they are also surprised. It can be bad dream and good dream. Even I m also surprised. Is it natural? One more thing in my dreams I always go to the some kind of temples or gurudwaras. In reality this temples or gurudwara do not exist. Its only in my dreams. Is there any connection? I know you must be laughing after reading my questions…heheheh… As I am also feeling shy should I ask such kind of question.. My mother said that you must go to the gurudwaras and temples and I started the same thing. I think it is good thing for me that god has given me opportunity to go the temples and gurudwaras in my dreams. But I need some advice from your side sir. It has not been established scientifically whether the dreams are the reflections of the past/future happenings or not.
However, it has been observed that the dreams are the outcome of our subconscious mind and also the outcome of our most favourable or unfavourable thoughts.
Psychologists say that the dreams also come out of fear, lack of self esteem, out of over-involvement in anything.
One of my relative is a bus conductor. As a conductor, he used to always shout like “Ticket…. Ticket”, “Parry’s corner has come…. all of you get down” while on duty in his bus.

His wife says that he is shouting in dreams also like “Ticket…. Ticket” “Parry’s corner has come…. all of you get down”. If the wife gets up from bed and see what happens, her husband is shouting while sleeping.
This shows that some times, the activities that we do repeatedly or the activities that are familiar to us come in our dreams.
One thing is clear. We never speak in an unknown language in dreams. This is the proof for the connections between our subconscious mind and dreams.
Some boys will always be thinking of girls and vice versa. They will always be thinking of having intimacy with someone atleast once whenever chance comes. So, he enjoys the thoughts of girls. Such boys who are always thinking of girls He will see a girl in his dream. He may even kiss in dreams and hug the pillows tightly (!!) in sleep. Whichever he is unable to do in reality, he can do in dreams. Pitiful.
Ha Ha. Once he gets married, all his dreams may cease to exist because he would have tasted the other side of life of reality with his spouse.
If his father or mother is nearby, they will understand and smile that their son is dreaming a girl and the time for his marriage has come.
Some men or women scold their spouse in dreams though it is not possible in reality because it will affect their next quota of meals.
If someone is in the fear for some reasons, they see wild animals or snakes in dreams. Some people even see the death of loved ones in dreams. Some in fear may even see ghosts in dreams.
If a boy is the fan of an actor and seeing all the movies of that actor, then, that actor comes in his dream.

Some times, some dreams come with no meaning. We may see a man with a bird’s head or snake’s head. We may fly in the air or dive into the deep ocean in dreams that are not possible in the real life for us.
Some boys or girls are able to marry their loved ones atleast in dreams though they are unable to marry them in real life.
So, the scenes in our dreams depend on the THOUGHTS THAT WE ARE GIVING IMPORTANCE AT THAT TIME OR ALL THE TIME.
So, if you have seen Krishna in dream, that means, you have given importance for Krishna in life and you have been thinking of Him frequently.
This may be an indication that you can practice devotion with a hope that you can see Krishna even in person, if you dedicate yourself for Krishna.
So, if Krishna comes in your dreams, you can take up devotion more seriously.
If you see billions of money in dreams, that means, you may be interested in making billions of money.
So , we need not give much importance for dreams. Let them come and go. Just forget about them and proceed with your next duty.
All dreams may not be reliable. So, if you enter into action relying on your dreams, it may land you in problems.
You should take those dreams as indication of your priorities and interests. If you see Krishna in dreams, that means, you have more interest in Krishna.

Seeing Krishna in dreams does not mean you are well prepared to go back to Krishna. That can be achieved only if you FEEL Krishna in everything and everywhere in REAL LIFE also.
You feel that whatever you see in dreams become true. This also may be because you are dreaming only usually happening things. Or, it may be coincidences.
In some cases, there are REAL DREAMS also. Dreams are SAID TO BE used as a tool of communications IN the case of some exalted souls like Pure acharyas in which they get some details and signals from God through dreams.
It is said that the permission to carve the Ugra Narsimmha dev was given to its sthapathi by his guru Sri Chandrasekarendra Swami Sankaracharya of Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, through dreams only and next day it was confirmed in writing through a letter from the same swami.

So, for the ordinary people who are having material attachments, the dreams are the outcome of their thoughts and addictions.
For extraordinary, saintly people who have no material attachments, the dreams may have a REAL meaning because they have no issues to see in dream. So, if they dream, it must be for some indication.
Now, decide whether you are a saintly person or a person with material attachments. Then decide the meaning of seeing Krishna in dreams.
One thing is clear: You like Krishna much. This is an indication of seeing Krishna in dreams. This is the favourable mindset to take your devotion further. If you take it, Krishna will accept your devotion and love earlier.
Take it further in real life and get Krishna in reality.
