12 THINGS TO FOLLOW TO GO BACK TO KRISHNA’s GOLOKA AT THE END OF THIS BIRTH ITSELF!

12 THINGS TO DO TO GO BACK TO KRISHNA’s GOLOKA AT THE END OF THIS BIRTH ITSELF!

There is no short route or tricks to go back to Krishna. One can not enter into Goloka by bribing the gate keepers or by entering through a secret side entry.

But, the straight route itself is mercifully simplified by Krishna Himself  in this kaliyuga in which the life time of people is very less.

Krishna is the purest form and spiritual. He is not affected by material things.  So, if one likes to go back to Krishna, he must first purify himself and become free from material contaminations.  Only a pure soul can enter into Krishna’s world.

Those who have material attachments have to take birth again in this world and purify themselves. Until they purify themselves, they have to take births on material planets like earth again and again.

OK, how to purify ourselves?

(i)  Follow Ekadasi fasting and fasting on other important days as suggested by the temple.

(ii) Follow four regulative principles strictly:  No meat eating.; No gambling; No intoxication (Smoke, liquor, tea, coffee, etc) and No illicit sex (No sex outside marriage).

(iii)  Do some services in temples whenever possible.

(iv)  Follow daily worship at home atleast once.

(v) There are some sadhanas to gradually take us close to Krishna:

There are recommendations for every yuga:

In Satya yuga,  penances for 100s of years.

In Treta yuga, yagas and yagnas (rituals of fire).

In Dvapar yuga, temple worship.

In the present kaliyuga, Krishna lives in His Holy Name.  So, His name itself is sufficient to purify yourself and take you back to Krishna.

So, if you like to go back to Krishna in this kaliyuga, Chant Lord’s Names through Hare Krishna Maha Manthra with a taste, love and dedication, atleast 16 rounds as recommended by Sri Caitanya Maha Prabhu followed by acharyas like Srila Prabhupada.

Again I like to record:  Chanting means, not just mechanical chanting.

You must chant with love and faith in the Holy Name of Krishna. If your lips say Hare Krishna and your mind goes round the world, it may not be effective.  You have to focus your attention on Krishna and chant His Name.

Only if you have full faith in Krishna, you will chant with dedication.

(vi) How to develop your faith on Krishna?

For that, you must read the authorized scriptures / writings about Krishna, written by the acharyas coming under bonafide sampradhayas. For example, the writings are practically customized for the people in this kaliyuga that can be followed by anyone in any position and status.

(vii) And, stop eating karmic food.  Honour only the prasadam, ie, the food offered to Krishna.

(viii) To do everything properly and to become pure from karma, we need the mercy of a bonafide spiritual master. So, accept a bonafide spiritual master who come under the bonafide sampradhaya.  Pray for his mercy to come up in Krishna Consciousness. The spiritual master mercifully cleanses you by accepting the effects of your karma and recommending for you to Krishna.

(ix) Remember, without the mercy of senior vaishnavas, going back to Krishna is impossible.  Therefore, get as much blessings possible from the vaishnavas and guru.

(x) Also, associate with and assist the vaishnavas who are preaching about Krishna Consciousness.  Whatever you learn from your master or acharya, do share with others.  You need not preach if you have no sufficient time.  Just passs the messages of Krishna even while discussing and you can just distribute the books of bonafide acharyas like Srila Prabhupada.  Because, Krishna says at the end of  Bhagavad Gita that those who preach His messages to the interested persons are His dearest devotees.

(xi) If you successfully follow the above advices till you leave this world, YOU SHOULD DEVELOP DETACHMENT WITH THE MATERIAL AFFAIRS AND MATERIAL HAPPENINGS AND THINGS and DEEP ATTACHMENT WITH KRISHNA in due course of time.

(xii) If you follow all the above advices but do not develop material detachment and attachment with Krishna, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE MORE BIRTHS, because, we can’t enter into Krishna’s Kingdom with material attachments.  Material attachments are considered as impurities in our spiritual status as athma, the servant of Lord.

So, all the above advices are meant to detach you from material affairs and attach you with Krishna.

All these practices will make you to see Krishna in everything and everyone and hence you will become free from twins like good-bad, ups-downs, etc.  You will take every happening as the mercy of Krishna.

You will develop a longing to meet Krishna at the earliest.  You will totally lose your interest in worldly affairs and develop Prema on Krishna.

If you sincerely cross these stages and attaining this Prema on Krishna and seeing only Krishna everywhere and everything, after death of this body, you will not accept further bodies.  You will go back to the eternal kingdom of Krishna.
